SAVe II Ventilators During COVID-19
To all of the healthcare providers, procurement officers, and faithful customers,
I wanted to take a minute to personally thank each and every one of you for your unwavering dedication to fighting COVID-19. I don't think anyone of us would have thought 6 months ago that this is how our spring would play out. I know that this unprecedented change in everyone's life came very unexpectedly. This has affected everyone, and we are letting you know we are here to support you and your mission. Many of our team members are fighting along with you all on the front lines whether domestically or internationally. I am not writing this as an ingenuine empty letter telling you how we're going to clean everything 20 times a day or look at what we are doing to "fight this". This is an opportunity to be transparent as an organization and clarify some things amidst all of the chaos.
I want to speak directly to the SAVe II ventilators. We have been advocates and supporters of the SAVe II for years, and have been one of the larger dealers of the products to the civilian/domestic market. With that, we have always had our frustrations with lead times and prioritization of the government over our customers. This is the unfortunate reality, and we are diligently working to field these as fast as possible. We have been in close communication almost daily with the manufacturer to get updated lead times and coordinate orders so that we may best send you information as it becomes available. So below here is some information that I feel comfortable passing on at this time.
-If you are looking to purchase ventilators, there is a lead time no matter who you go through. Nationally there has been a massive request for vents, and components. While we genuinely wish we could ship them out today for you, it is not currently feasible. I believe this will be echoed by any manufacturer or dealer you speak to. We are currently looking at about 6 weeks to take delivery.
-We have over 100 units on order and have some still available. If you would like to purchase, we ask that you place a deposit on the machines, and have made that an available option on the product page. We, unfortunately, can not "hold" units on good faith at this time. We have extensively discussed remaining ethical through all of our business practices and having a deposit was the best way we see fit to ensure fair treatment of anyone ordering.
-If you do place an order, and later decide to receive a refund we will honor this within 7 days. In accordance with our refund policy, any order over $100.00 will have a 10% fee attached to it at the time of refund. This is to ensure that we are able to continue to function as a business, and is in no way an attempt to "make money". Time and effort of American's went into processing your orders, coordinating with the manufacturer as well as credit card processing fees.
-At this time a quote will not constitute an order being placed. We are hopeful that you can understand.
-We are continuing to take orders, and field conversations or answer any questions you have. If you are interested in learning more about the vent and are potentially purchasing units we are happy to offer a trial of our eLearning program that has been accredited for CE of the SAVe II ventilator.
With all of that said, we are absolutely driven to support you on the front lines of this fight against COVID-19 and will absolutely do everything we possibly can to ensure you are prepared to respond to the best of your abilities. We are excited to see this pandemic curve flatten before more Americans pass due to it. We pray you and all of your families remain safe.
